After a day at the races on April 8, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will bring Matt Sorum-founded supergroup Kings of Chaos to the Convention Center outdoor stage. Long Beach native, Sorum is best-known as the world-recognized drummer from Guns-N-Roses and Velvet Revolver.

Founded in 2012, Kings of Chaos will feature Billy Idol, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, and Matt Sorum, of course, for a high-energy performance at the event’s popular Saturday night Rock-N-Roar Concert.

Returning to the city where he was born is especially exciting to Sorum. “I am really looking forward to playing for racing fans in the town where I was born,” he said in a statement. “The Grand Prix of Long Beach is the coolest event going.”

This will definitely be a performance perfectly-suited for fans as the group’s set list will include hit songs from ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Stone Temple Pilots, The Cult and others. Previous performances have featured everything from “Vasoline” to “Whole Lotta Love.”

Ticket prices for Saturday’s racing events and concert start at $58 for a General Admission ticket, with Saturday-only reserved seating costing $67.  Three-day tickets, pre-paid parking packages, handicapped seating, Verizon IndyCar Series Paddock access passes, Super Photo tickets and an array of VIP Club packages are also available.
