The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (“DLBA” or “we”) collects information about users who register for programs on our website, fill out surveys, request information, enter contests, communicate with us by e-mail, and make purchases on our site. We may also track page views and usage patterns. All of the information gathered by DowntownLongBeach.org will be used for internal purposes. We also collect aggregated visitor traffic data for those who visit the Downtown Long Beach region for various types of economic and foot-traffic reports.

Aggregated Information (information that does not personally identify you) may be combined with similar information obtained from other users to help improve our site and services (for example, to learn which pages or locations are visited most or what features are most attractive), and to further our mission of promoting Downtown Long Beach.

We may also use Personally Identifiable Information collected on DowntownLongBeach.org to communicate with you about your registration and customization preferences; our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; services and products offered by DowntownLongBeach.org, and our partners; information about Downtown Long Beach and other topics we think you might find of interest.

Personally Identifiable Information may also be used for other purposes, including but not limited to site administration, troubleshooting, processing of e-commerce transactions, administration of sweepstakes and contests, and other communications with you. We will use your information only as permitted by law. There is no personally identifiable information collected on visitors to the Downtown Long Beach region.

Healthy communities need good analytics about brick and mortar locations. For businesses and cities, location data tells an important story about our physical world and how we use our collective resources. It helps retailers and restaurants understand patterns in foot traffic, allows municipalities to measure economic development, and allows hospitality services to plan effectively for local events. DLBA uses Placer.ai to collect this data.

The Placer.ai Privacy Policy describes how Placer Labs, Inc. (“Placer” or “we”) collects, stores, uses and discloses information about individuals who use mobile apps developed and operated by third parties that have integrated their software development kit (the “SDK”), from which Placer receives or collects certain information and data (such individuals are referred to herein as “Consumers”).

The Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to our Terms of Use at https://placer.ai/terms-of-service. By using the SDK as a Consumer, you agree to Placer’s collection, storage, use and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with anything in this Privacy Policy, please do not use the SDK.
