Prepare to treat your taste buds with bites from your favorite DTLB restaurants when Taste of Downtown returns to the East Village Arts District on March 15 and 16 from 6PM – 10PM.
There is much more to this annual event than pleasing palates, this year we’re introducing a shop and dine experience with a Makers Mart alongside the food booths on Linden Avenue and First Street. Guests can also expect live music from GrooveSession and DJ Dennis Owens, beer, wine, and cider, and a free bike valet at this year’s expanded event.
Admission is free, and food tickets are just $1 each and samples generally range from two to five tickets.
“Taste of Downtown has become a community favorite events and is now an annual tradition for DTLB,” said Gina Dartt, DLBA’s Marketing and Special Events Manager. “This event series is special and you won’t find the energy and enthusiasm anywhere else. Downtown’s culinary scene has come a long away over the years, and we’re proud to showcase that at this event.”
This year, the food festival features close to 20 restaurants, including newcomers to District Wine, Great Society Cider & Mead, and Romeo Chocolates.
