Introduction to Vedic Astrology

Vedic Astrology, or Jyotisha, is the Science of Light. This is an ancient Indian system of deeply studying the Sun, Moon, planets and stars as a path to self-knowledge.

Vedic Astrology has endless applications. Not only can we study our physical health, and our relationships – we can ascertain our true purpose in life.

This workshop will give you a firm foundation in Vedic Astrology that will help you understand your own birth chart, and go further in your studies. We will learn about the twelve signs of the zodiac, the twelve houses, and the nine planets. Then, we will study these foundational aspects of astrology within the context of health. This is invaluable information for practitioners of Ayurveda, who will learn how to see dosha, dhatu, and guna in a birth chart.

This workshop is for absolute beginners in Vedic Astrology. Familiarity with Ayurveda is encouraged, but not required.
