International City Theatre’s Free Family Saturday: Proud to Be Me
International City Theatre’s Free Family Saturday program provides an introduction to live theatre for children and their families. Through each performance, young people learn essential lessons on tolerance and inclusion, self-esteem, multiculturalism, history, and great works of literature. Geared towards younger children ages 12 and under, but not exclusive of older children, Free Family Saturday creates equity and expands access to theatre for families in Long Beach by removing financial barriers to the arts.
