Long Beach, CA (December 7, 2023) – The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) is excited to announce its highly anticipated New Year’s Eve 2024 celebration, featuring two breathtaking fireworks displays on Sunday, Dec. 31. As part of DLBA’s enduring commitment to creating memorable experiences, these shows will illuminate the Downtown Long Beach (DTLB) skyline at 9 PM and again at Midnight.
“New Year’s Eve in Downtown Long Beach is not just a celebration, it’s an experience and annual tradition for so many,” said DLBA President & CEO Austin Metoyer. “We invite everyone to visit your favorite Downtown restaurant or bar before the show, and to join us in this radiant event. Whether it’s families enjoying the 9 PM show or friends gathering at Midnight to welcome the New Year, there’s something magical for everyone.”
This year’s festivities continue DLBA’s annual tradition of bringing joy and vibrancy to the community. In addition to the fireworks, numerous bars and restaurants throughout downtown will host special events and celebrations.
The 9 PM fireworks show is perfectly timed for families to enjoy a stunning display at the Waterfront, while the Midnight show promises to be a spectacular ushering in of 2024.
DLBA is grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, The Queen Mary, Visit Long Beach, and Shoreline Village, whose contributions have been vital in making this event a reality.
We encourage community members to partake in the array of hosted festivities downtown and join us for one or both fireworks displays.
