Are you ready for summer and the outdoor festivals that come with it? The season is kicking off with Day Trip Festival, expected to bring about 25K visitors to Downtown. Unfortunately for us it’s already sold out, but fear not, this year’s summer festival lineup has something for just about everyone. 

Downtown Long Beach, with its parks, scenery, and plentiful food, drink, and shopping options, is emerging as one of the premiere festival destinations in Southern California. LOVE LONG BEACH FESTIVAL 

Music is a healing force. At this year’s Love Long Beach Festival, happening at Shoreline Aquatic Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23, there will be a ton of it: Over 50 world-class DJs and live musicians will provide the soundtrack for a weekend of wellness which features yoga, art, locally-made healthy food, a vendor village, and a variety of wellness workshops. 40TH ANNUAL LONG BEACH PRIDE FESTIVAL

It’s happening a bit later than in years past, but the 40th edition of the Long Beach Pride Festival & Parade will be as spectacular as it’s always been. Be at Marina Green Park on Saturday and Sunday, August 5 and 6 to enjoy an eclectic offering of live music all weekend on three stages. RISING JAPAN MUSICFEST 

Japanese music and culture take center stage at Marina Green Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23 at the Rising Japan Musicfest. Performers from Japan and the United States will be performing throughout the weekend. Food vendors will be sharing Japanese food culture, and the sake and Asahi beer will be flowing freely. COASTAL COUNTRY JAM 

Close out your summer with some of the very biggest names in country music! The Coastal Country Jam, taking place at Marina Green Park on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, will feature Blake Shelton, Maren Morris, Tim McGraw, Tyler Hubbard, and many other country music superstars, as well as a massive 50,000 square foot line dancing area, locally curated craft food, a variety of refreshing beverage options, interactive art installations, and a ferris wheel! PIRATE INVASION LONG BEACH 

Buccaneers will be descending on Shoreline Aquatic Park on Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, for a full weekend of pirate-y pleasures. Bands, sideshows, lots of games for kids, bounteous feasts, ample grog (including a NEW pub crawl), and an expanded V.I.P. area await you and your pirate crew.
