Long Beach Black History Month Celebration
Please join us on Tuesday, February 4th as we celebrate Black History Month! There will be a program with live performances and community resource tables, followed by the unveiling of two exhibits: "Hometown Heroes: Profiles in Long Beach Black History" curated by the Long Beach Post. Long Beach Women’s History Month Celebration
Please join us on March 10th at to celebrate Women's History Month at your new Civic Center! The program will start at 4:00pm. There will be live performances, community resource tables, great food from our women-owned businesses and inspirational speakers. We will also be showcasing a women's history video exhibit created by CSULB's ASI. Afterwards, at 5:00pm, we will be honoring 9 women throughout the City in the Bob Foster Civic Chamber. We can't wait to see you there!

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration
Hispanic Heritage Month is a period from September 15 to October 15 when we recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. To mark this important occasion, please join Seventh District Councilmember Roberto Uranga and First District Councilwoman Mary Zendejas for entertainment and refreshments in the Civic Center Plaza.
