Photo-meet and Walk. Sunday, October 28th 4 pm - 8 pm. (5 pm walk) Photographers, Models, and Artist welcomed. Free Event. We will be spending a few hours thru Downtown long beach to photograph and capture the essence of the city, the feel and the lights, the people and the places. We will meet at the Light House at the shoreline aquatic park and start walking from there towards other areas.

Late Night at Aquarium of the Pacific

Aquarium Aviculturist Sara Mandel will share her experiences working in South Africa with the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds, which conducts rescue, rehabilitation, and release of ill, injured, abandoned, and oiled seabirds. During her time in South Africa, Mandel assisted with rearing abandoned African penguin eggs and chicks for eventual release back into the wild.
