The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) will host a national program to engage, educate and connect local entrepreneurs. Founded by the Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is based on the notion that entrepreneurs network and discover solutions over a million cups of coffee. The FREE, monthly gathering helps build startup communities on a grassroots level.
Beginning February 5 and meeting every first Wednesday of the month through December 2020, entrepreneurs, innovators, funders and other community members interested in investing in Downtown Long Beach are invited to attend the sessions. Scroll down to register below!
Event Highlights
We meet from 7:30 – 9 AM at CommonGrounds Workspace, located at 145 W Broadway, in Downtown Long Beach. The program’s model is consistent in each city: two startups present their companies to an audience of mentors, advisers and other entrepreneurs. Each presenter is given six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience.
Parking:
We recommend parking in City Place Lots A, B, or C in the heart of DTLB, where two hour free parking is available and only a few minutes walk to CommonGrounds Workspace. Pay parking is available on-site.
