The Whisk(e)y World of Linh Do, with special guest Compass Box

Women Who Whiskey LBC is pleased to present a celebration of Linh Do! On February 16th, from 3-5 pm, we’ll be hosting a reception at C Gallery FIne Art (441 E Broadway, Long Beach) showcasing the singular works of this extraordinary creative mind.

Linh is a local artist who has gained worldwide acclaim for her whiskey-related artworks. A true whiskey expert, having worked in some of the top whiskey bars and bottle shops around, Linh has gone on to work with brands like Glenfiddich, Speyburn, and Fukano. A combination of striking inkwork and candy-coated fantasia, Linh’s work draws an important distinction between enjoying serious whisk(e)y and being serious about whisk(e)y. In addition to the wall-hanging stuff, Linh may be most well known for a series of dresses she’s constructed celebrating some of her favorite distilleries.

C Gallery fine art studio is featuring a special exhibition of Linh’s work, and in this reception you’ll have a chance to view her art and meet the artist. The artwork will also be available to purchase (except for the dresses–don’t even ask).

In addition, Tristan Uhl from Compass Box Whisky will be providing some special pours for you to enjoy. A style icon in its own right, Compass Box has been pushing the boundaries of the Scotch whisky world, releasing unique and highly sought blends while thumbing its nose at stuffy conventions.

Finally, light bites in the form of a cheese and charcuterie platter will be provided.
