Free eWaste Collection Event

Due to popular demand, E-waste Fundraising Day is coming to Renaissance High School for the Arts.

As you know when electronic equipment is disposed of improperly it can contaminate our environment. In an effort to help raise funds for our school and at the same time provide a cost efficient and convenient way to recycle your unwanted electronics, we have scheduled an E-waste Fundraising Day.

This event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 9am to 12pm. You may begin delivering any items you want to dispose of to the parking lot behind the school starting at 9am that day. You are welcome to bring items from home as well as your office. For participants that have e-waste at their work or offices please call our Vendor at (844) 939-1514 for a pickup (you must have 10 items on their Qualified Items list) – please inform them that the pickup is for “Renaissance HS Fundraising Event” so it will be counted towards our cause.

Please find our recycling vendor’s “Qualified Items” link – https://www.alliance-recycling.com/aer-recycling. They will take a wide range of office e-waste including TV’s, Computers, Laptops, basically anything with a plug and battery.

Rest assured all material collected will be recycled in strict accordance with EPA, CalRecycle and DTSC regulations. All materials collected will be recycled through environmentally conscious and appropriate processes.
