30-Mile Tour of Long Beach Ride

Bike Month returns to the City of Long Beach this May with events and activities for everyone. This celebration of bicycling will include some of last year’s popular virtual events such as self-guided tours and social media posts on local bike history, but residents can also join in person for group rides, bike-to-school events, and more.

Those who haven’t ridden their bikes in a while can attend a free bike check-up to make sure everything is running smoothly. Bike owners can register their bikes at an event with 529 Garage, a community-powered bike recovery service. Businesses across the city will be offering deals for people who arrive by bike. And events like Bike-to-Work Day will make it easy to try out switching to pedal power for all kinds of trips.

Additionally, residents will have a chance to learn about some of the great new bike infrastructure being built in Long Beach and explore more of the rich local cycling community. A full calendar of events is available here.
