Art in DTLB
Unfiltered is a signature public art program that archives the cityscape through the lenses of its residents and visitors from year to year. One photo is selected from each of the five categories as a Viewfinder Award winner. Additionally, a Fan Favorite is selected from the 25 finalist photos through a public online vote following a public exhibition.
Five unique crosswalk designs were installed on Pine Avenue between 1st Street and 7th Street in March 2017. Each design recognizes the legacy of human enterprise during the first century of Long Beach’s development while acknowledging the importance of a vibrant marine environment along our coast.
