Hair Art

Stars Salon is a Downtown Long Beach storefront business on Ocean Boulevard in the East Village providing hair styling and coloring. However, for the Art Walk, I will promote a new form of body art: Exotic Hair Braiding. This body art can incorporate colorful hair extensions, tinsel, and/or fairy elements into elaborate braiding techniques to create a distinctive arrangement suitable for special occasion or everyday display. My booth will display several mannequin heads featuring examples of these exotic completed designs as well as pictures of other possibilities. I will also perform in-booth demonstrations of some simpler designs.
