YOUR VOICE & OUR FUTURE MATTER – DPBIA Elections

The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DTLB Alliance) is a non-profit community-based organization charged with managing two business improvement districts in Downtown. The mission of the DTLB Alliance is to cultivate, preserve, and promote a healthy, safe, and prosperous Downtown. Each year, Downtown Long Beach ratepayers are asked to exercise their voice and ratify a slate of candidates for the Board of Directors.

ELECTION DATES

Voting begins June 17 @ 12:00PM and ends on July 22 @ 11:45PM.

BOARD SEATS

This year’s slate will ratify Seven (9) candidates for open Board seats representing the PBID and DPBIA:

DPBIA AREA: Two (5) stakeholders will represent the DPBIA Area.

TERMS

Terms are two (2) years.

VOTES REQUIRED TO RATIFY CANDIDATES

The ratification of the slate will be determined by majority vote. A majority shall be determined based only upon the valid returned slates.

VOTE VALUE

Vote value for DPBIA district is one vote per business license.
