Virtual Celebration with Elise Bryant and Senator Lena A. Gonzalez

February 17, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

FREE

In celebration of Library Lovers’ Month and Black History Month, the Long Beach Public Library Foundation is proud to host a free virtual celebration with Long Beach author Elise Bryant and Library Foundation Honorary Director Senator Lena A. Gonzalez. Elise’s debut YA novel, Happily Ever Afters, was released this year by HarperCollins as a lead title.

We invite local students to submit questions for Elise at https://lbplfoundation.org/hea by February 15 to be considered for the virtual celebration. One student will win a signed copy of Elise Bryant’s Happily Ever Afters.

The free event is made possible by Farmers & Merchants Bank, which is sponsoring the Library Foundation’s month-long online celebration of Library Lovers’ Month and Black History Month. The festivities will support the Library Foundation’s Fund for Race, Justice, and Equity Resources at the Library.
