Loiter Galleries Presents: A Photographer and A Painter Walk Into A Bar

A Photographer and a Painter Walk into a Bar is an exciting new exhibition that merges the distinct yet complementary works of Stacey Crockett and Denise Skeeter. Opening on Friday March 28th, the exhibit playfully explores the intersection of two artistic mediums as Stacy Crockett photographs her travels around the globe and painter Denise Skeeter interprets those photographs in her paintings. Denise Skeeter is an established, local painter who considers herself a metaphysical artist preferring to bend reality and reconstructing it. Stacy Crockett is a Long Beach based photographer who will be having her first gallery exhibit showcasing her unique perspective involving capturing simple moments in time, taking what objectively exists, selecting a small slice and removing it from its context.
