It’s The ‘Maya Mash’
November 1, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
It’s all treats and traditions as Hotel Maya does the ‘Maya Mash’ with frightfully exciting Halloween and Día de Los Muertos food and drink specials, Mariachi music and festivities from now through November 2.
The Latin-infused restaurant sets the holiday mood with a frighteningly decorated “Creepy Cabana” with scary views of the Queen Mary – one of the most haunted locations in America. Fuego’s ‘Creepy Cabana’ is a semi-private spooky dining spot with eerie props, mood lighting, skeletons and cobwebs that is available nightly by reservation only for up to 12 people now to November 2. To confirm availability and reserve the “Creepy Cabana,” which requires a deposit and minimum in food and beverage spend, contact Fuego at The Maya directly via website http://www.hotelmayalongbeach.com/special-events or call 562-481-3910.
Fuego will mark one of the most important Mexican holidays with a traditional alter for artifacts to remember passed loved ones. Día de Los Muertos is celebrated on both Nov. 1 when children are honored and Nov. 2 when adults are remembered. Dia de Los Muertos in Fuego will feature a live Mariachi performance on Nov. 1 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
