Downtown Long Beach businesses are bringing World Cup 2026 excitement to every corner of the district. Whether you’re looking for giant screens, lively crowds, great food and drinks, or a more laid-back place to catch the match, you’ll find plenty of ways to cheer on your favorite team. Pair these Downtown watch parties with the LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration, and you have everything you need for an unforgettable World Cup experience.   

Shannon’s on Pine: This popular sports watching spot is located at the big corner of Broadway and Pine. Shannon’s will be showing games on its 14 TVs with game-day food and drink specials.

Buen Provecho: For elevated Mexican eats and sips to enjoy while watching World Cup battles on a 13-foot jumbo screen, Buen Provecho is a winning choice. This spot is the place to go for Team Mexico games! 

The Ordinarie: What soccer fan wouldn’t want to go to a place that’s bragging about showing ALL World Cup matches? Settle in with some blackened salmon or maybe a flat iron steak, sip a custom cocktail or craft beer, and get wrapped up in the drama of World Cup competition. The Ordinarie has highlighted a couple of special watch parties: 

Panama International Restaurant: This new Caribbean-style restaurant at 211 Pine Ave will be hosting The Global Table: A World Cup Fan Experience, a ticketed, culturally immersive series of watch parties (especially for Panama national team matches) featuring DJs and live performances!    

Gaucho Beach: Watch games by the beach with big screens and sound while choosing from a food menu best described as “Argentina meets California!” Gaucho Beach is currently promoting this watch party:

Local Current: A cool and comfy restaurant located inside the Marriott Long Beach Downtown at 111 E Ocean Blvd, Local Current is hosting watch parties at the bar with Happy Hour patio pricing. 

The Breakfast Bar: Come on over to The Breakfast Bar at 70 Atlantic Ave. for World Cup food and fun! Their Plunge Patio will be open for viewing parties with food and drink specials. The Breakfast Bar noted these special viewing party days:

Shenanigans: 423 Shoreline Village Dr. is the place to be if you like your World Cup games with a live music soundtrack! Shenanigans will be showing games on their 14 TV screens throughout the tournament, often while bands play. Promotional Surfside cocktail samplings will be offered during various games, and The Modelo Girls will be stopping by during the June 17 game.
