FINAL Final Friday Wake at Promenade Area Bars from Congregation Ale House to The Stave

7pm

Cost: Free

A decade ago the earliest residents along The Promenade decided to create a social event to foster community and safety. Every final Friday of the month since then PARA has carried it on. But, now it’s time to lay it to rest. They will be hosting a New Orleans style wake, “second line” and all.
Wear your best funeral garb to walk and dance the Second Line in. It wouldn’t be a Second Line unless you have a handkerchief to wave or a parasol (or umbrella) to carry up high. Decorate it for the occasion!
