The Long Beach Post and Playalarga have joined forces to launch the Long Beach People’s Choice Awards 2025. The initiative is designed to highlight local businesses and individuals across more than 90 categories, from food and nightlife to wellness and creative spaces—offering a broad look at the people and places that contribute to the city’s identity.

It comes as no surprise that lots of Downtown Long Beach (DTLB)  businesses are among those nominated. Voting is officially open, and we encourage you to support by casting your votes before the deadline on May 5. The campaign will culminate in a live awards event on June 8 in DTLB. So let’s make sure Downtown’s diverse talent and entrepreneurship is celebrated!
