Taste of Downtown and KCRW Summer Nights have combined to create a free-to-enter, all-ages event celebrating Downtown Long Beach culture and community! This festival of local flavors, live music, and dancing is happening Saturday, Aug. 22 from 2 to 10 PM on Pine Avenue and The Promenade.
Eighteen Downtown and local eateries will be serving bite-sized food samples throughout the afternoon and evening, with beer, wine, and craft cocktails also available to round out the Taste of Downtown experience.
Taste Tickets
Taste of Downtown is free to enter, with $1 Taste Tickets required for purchasing food and drink from participating restaurants and bars.
There are plenty of Taste Ticket options available, whether the plan is to sample a few bites or make a full smorgasbord out of the festivities. Taste Tickets are available to purchase in advance here (to be picked up at will call) or on-site at designated booths during the event.

Live Music Lineup
Live music and DJs will keep the energy going all afternoon before KCRW Summer Nights takes over the evening. KCRW DJs Nassir Nassirzadeh and Raul Campos will bring their eclectic selections to the dance floor from 6 to 10 PM, capping off a full day of music in the heart of Downtown.
