Yesterday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that this Friday, May 8, some businesses will be able to reopen with limitations such as curbside pickup only service. The action marks the beginning of the state’s implementation of Stage 2 (of 4) to reopen the economy. Businesses allowed to reopen Friday include some retailers, such as florists and book shops, as well as some manufacturing and logistics firms. Offices, seated dining establishments, and shopping malls will not be allowed to open.

Newsom is expected to release specific details and guidelines this Thursday, May 7, at which time DLBA will provide an update.
