For the 9th year in a row Long Beach’s ultimate summer-long free concert series, the Downtown Long Beach Alliance’s (DLBA) Summer and Music (SAM), presented by Millworks and interTrend, returned to DTLB. SAM kicked off its ninth season with the reinvention of the fan favorite skate event FKA 720 at The Streets (FKA City Place) this past Saturday.

As the skaters warmed up the ramps provided by Keen, the crowd began to stir with excited for the musical acts including Pinky, Rudy de Anda, and fan-favorite, Matt Costa.

Summer and Music will continue in with Punk Rock Prom on July 29 and culminating with the annual Buskerfest in the East Village Arts District on August 19. For more information, visit summerandmusic.com.
