One of Long Beach’s most entertaining free events, It’s a Drag to Give, is returning to the Long Beach Convention Center on December 8, and it’s all for a good cause.

The event will feature several prominent Long Beach community members performing in drag to raise money for charity. Expect performances from Councilwoman Jeannine Pearce, The B Room’s Isa Rached, Sergio Carrillo, Mimi Masher, Cory Allen from Councilwoman Gonzalez’s office, Lisa Mae Brunson and more. With music from the always happening DJ Notorious Jenn, while entertainer, drag Queen, and personality, JEWELS will be the event’s host and MC for the evening.

All funds and donations will go directly to LGBTQ Center of Long Beach, Beacon for Him and WomenShelter of Long Beach.

Bring those dollar bills (or Lincolns or Hamiltons) to raise money by tipping the performers throughout the evening.

It’s a Drag To Give will kickoff at 7PM for cocktails, music and mingling followed by an evening of not-to-be-missed performances starting at 8PM.

Like always, this is a free event as long as you bring anunwrapped toy or two and/or a gently used or new coat to donate.
