Long Beach Symphony Pops is wrapping up its season this Saturday night, May 9, with “Serpentine Fire: The Music of Earth, Wind & Fire,” a show that will have Mom and her entire crew up and dancing all night! Arrive early at 6 PM to enjoy your own Mother’s Day picnic or a pre-ordered meal from one of these vendors, then take a funky, soulful trip with the music of one of the most legendary bands ever! Attendees of all ages will get caught up in it.

TEA WITH SHAKESPEARE  /  THE BEMBRIDGE HOUSE, 953 N PARK CIRCLE

Share some tea and live theatre with Mom this Saturday, May 9, in the beautiful Bembridge House. Performances of Shakespeare’s classic comedy/drama The Merchant of Venice will be presented at 1 and 4 PM. The first act happens in the front garden, underneath the trees. After a brief intermission, acts two and three will be performed in two different locations inside the house. Doors open at 6 PM for the 6:30 PM show, which will immerse you in unforgettable energy!
