Pumpkin Pie Latte from Ground Hideout

Fall is here, and that means one thing: pumpkin spice. There’s something about those warm, comforting flavors that feels like the perfect prelude to the holiday season. Luckily, several coffee shops across Downtown Long Beach are embracing the season with their own lineup of festive drinks.

Steadfast Cafe

First up is Steadfast Cafe in the East Village Arts District. They’re well known for breakfast favorites like avocado toast and breakfast burritos, but their drink menu is just as worth exploring. Seasonal standouts include the Maple Matcha and Pumpkin Pie Latte, both bringing a cozy fall twist to the menu.

Confidential Coffee

Next is no secret: Confidential Coffee, which puts a Latin-inspired spin on its offerings. Their seasonal drinks include the Matcha Horchata and Rompope Latte. The latter takes inspiration from rompope, a Mexican-style eggnog, and is finished with orange zest and shaved pecans for an extra festive touch.

Grandpa Coffee Bar

Following that is Grandpa Coffee Bar. If you’re looking for a quick caffeine stop along the Promenade, you’ll find this no-frills coffee shop sharing a space with Pastaphony. The menu keeps things simple, with options like vanilla and lavender lattes that are perfect for grabbing on the go.

Qargo Coffee

Speaking of a quick coffee, Qargo Coffee is another solid option. Located on the ground floor of the Shoreline Gateway building, this coffee shop goes all in on seasonal offerings. The Dolce Pumpkin Matcha is a particularly sweet treat for anyone looking to lean into the flavors of fall.

Aroma di Roma

Next up is the lesser-known Downtown location of Aroma di Roma. Formerly a Belmont Shore favorite, this location is both a sit-down cafe and a convenient stop on your way to work. Their seasonal lineup includes the Cinnamon Roll Latte, which brings the flavors of a favorite breakfast pastry straight to your coffee cup.

Ground Hideout

Lastly, there’s Ground Hideout, which puts plenty of thought into its seasonal menu. Pumpkin Pie, Caramel Apple, Sea Salt Maple and more make up a well-curated lineup of fall flavors. If you’re looking to explore seasonal coffee around Downtown Long Beach, it’s definitely one to add to your list.

From pumpkin spice classics to drinks with a distinctly local and Latin-inspired twist, Downtown Long Beach has plenty of ways to get your fall caffeine fix.
