The Saturday, February 14 DTLB Art + Design Walk is a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community, inviting visitors to experience Downtown Long Beach through the lens of art and design. This quarterly event brings together artists, designers, architects, makers, and creative entrepreneurs who are shaping the identity and future of DTLB.

EXHIBITS AND ACTIVATIONS

Attune LA – Promenade Square Park (124 The Promenade N)

As part of this February’s DTLB Art + Design Walk, Downtown Long Beach joins Attune LA, a county-wide light and sound art activation unfolding simultaneously across multiple locations throughout the region.

Attune LA brings together artists working in sound, music, and immersive installation to create shared moments of listening, reflection, and collective experience. Through site-responsive works, the activation invites audiences to slow down, tune in, and connect with the environment, with one another, and with the healing power of the arts.

 

Legacy Unity & Love: Black Future Celebration (The Promenade N Between E 3rd St. & E 4th St.)

Join Dreamz Into Goals for the 2nd Annual Legacy & Unity: Black Future Celebration, a free, outdoor festival honoring African American history, culture, and achievements. This vibrant, family-friendly activation features a Black-owned vendor marketplace, live performances, cultural exhibits, wellness resources, educational programming, and hands-on activities for all ages creating a dynamic space to celebrate community, creativity, and connection during the DTLB Art + Design Walk.

 

Shuttle Stop 1 Activations (Drop off at 185 E 3rd St.)

Hop off the shuttle at Harvey Milk Promenade Park and explore bold gallery openings, a 16-artist exhibition, a vibrant art and design marketplace, live music, immersive workshops, and interactive creative experiences throughout the surrounding district.

 

Shuttle Stop 2 Activations (Drop off at Broadway & The Promenade)

Step off the shuttle and wander through Artists’ Alley, where local artists transform the walkway with interactive installations leading to Attune at Promenade Square Park. Continue on to experience a Lunar New Year interactive installation at Intertrend and additional creative surprises nearby.

 

Shuttle Stop 3 Activations (Drop off at 3rd St. & Elm Ave.)

At this stop you can explore Coulter Jacobs: This Side of the Truth at LBMA Downtown alongside a Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, plus live music, tattoos, food vendors, artist pop-ups, and local makers throughout the surrounding studios and shops!

 

Shuttle Stop 4 Activations (Drop off at 1st St. & Linden Ave.)

This shuttle stop brings you into a vibrant neighborhood celebration featuring local artists, family-friendly activities, swap meets, live music, tattoo pop-ups, art shows, and a Valentine’s mini market across participating East Village businesses!
