TGI2S+ Career and Resource Fair

The City of Long Beach Departments of Economic Development & Opportunity (EDO), Health & Human Services and Library, Arts and Culture will host a free career fair designed to connect those who identify with the transgender, gender expansive, intersex and two-spirit+ (TGI2S+) communities with rewarding career opportunities and resources. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Apr. 23, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Billie Jean King Main Library (200 W. Broadway). Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP online.

The TGI2S+ career fair will feature a variety of employers and hiring representatives, fostering an environment of inclusivity and support. Additionally, community organizations will be present to offer specialized services tailored to the unique needs of the community. Workshops will also be conducted to educate attendees on employee rights and the process of applying for jobs with the City of Long Beach. Optional preparation sessions will be held virtually prior to the event to help attendees prepare and maximize their experience. People who indicate interest in attending a preparation session in the RSVP form will be contacted with more information.
