The 5K course begins at the Marina Green Park. Participants will proceed onto the beach via the designated oceanfront course, enjoying an open stretch along the shore. This section of the course (all cement) offers refreshing morning breezes and the invigorating scent of the ocean, presenting a predominantly flat and fast-running surface. At approximately the 1.55-mile mark, runners and walkers will turn around and head back to the Marina Green Park for the post-race celebration, which includes complimentary tacos and beer.
