Space Beach Law Lab
February 24 - February 26

Space Beach Law Lab is an annual space law conference that offers deep insight into the ever evolving legal and regulatory landscape of the space industry. Bringing together hundreds of attendees from around the globe, our speakers and panels address pivotal legal topics, from international treaties and frameworks, launch politics, militarization, intellectual property rights, and the emerging commercial space economy.
The conference also addresses ethical considerations such as sustainability, debris management, and environmental stewardship, while highlighting opportunities for cross-industry collaboration among aerospace, tech, and legal sectors to advance space missions. We make sure to include units that count toward CLE accreditation.
“Some people hear ‘space law,’ and their first reaction is often confusion or disbelief that it’s a real thing.’ said Drea Bernardi, producer and founding partner of the conference. “But space technology affects aspects of everyday life down here on Earth, whether it’s satellite technology or national security. As space continues to grow into a trillion-dollar industry – space is definitely going to need more lawyers!”
“We created Space Beach Law Lab to bring together this community of cutting-edge legal minds and industry pioneers. This is where the economy of the future is being built, right here in Space Beach, California, and this conference is the place to hash out the big ideas.” Founder Justin Hectus concurs, “This isn’t just a conference; it’s a launchpad for the innovative at heart, the curious in spirit, and the brave in ambition.”
