Join the NICU community at this family-fun event on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Downtown Long Beach. September is NICU Awareness Month and this event symbolizes a day of hope, resilience, and shared stories. The NICU Warrior Walk honors the incredible journeys of NICU babies and their families, celebrates the tireless dedication of NICU staff, and raises funds to support ongoing care and resources for those experiencing the NICU journey. 1 in 10 babies will see a NICU after they are born, which means, more than likely, you know someone or have been someone who experienced the NICU. Being a part of this community event shows your support to all the babies and their families in celebrating their strength, courage, and warrior-spirit. It is also important to acknowledge that not all parents get to take their baby home from the NICU. As NICU parents, Edward and I know what that feels like and we stand in solidarity for those NICU families and honor them and all they went through with this walk as well.
