Loiter Galleries Opening Night: “Old Men Still Dream” by sculptor Ron Leiter

Loiter Galleries, an inventive pop-up art gallery located in Long Beach, is pleased to host California’s only sculpture exhibit by artist Ron Leiter, opening on March 7, 2020, from 6 to 9 PM. The display will run March 7 – April 11.

Leiter has been sculpting for over 40 years. He describes himself as self-taught, influenced by the likes of Smith, Serra, and Hepworth. To create his works, Leiter uses 22-gauge sheet metal, a welding rod, and an oxyacetylene torch.

Loiter Galleries is a non-profit, Pop-Up art space in Long Beach. Currently located at 180 East 4th Street, its purpose is two-fold: To create temporary galleries in available, vacant properties; and to support local artists and their message, with myriad benefits for the property broker and owner.
