About Renaissance High School for the Arts: Renaissance is the visual and performing arts high school in Long Beach Unified School District. Located in Downtown Long Beach. Renaissance provides students with challenging arts programs and a rigorous academic curriculum that prepares students for both college and career. Our mission is to provide all students with a comprehensive arts education, empowering them to reach their creative potential and develop skills that prepare them for their post-high school lives.

With support from the community, Renaissance students leverage what they’ve learned and experienced to develop viable opportunities in the arts and beyond. We are proud of our many alumni who have gone on to attend institutions like NYU, Berklee College of Music, FIDM, Musician’s Institute, UCLA, various CSUs and UCs, and into successful careers.
