“EZ” STANDS FOR “ENTERTAINMENT ZONE”, AND THE CITY JUST APPROVED THE DOWNTOWN LONG BEACH ALLIANCE TO HOLD THIS TYPE OF “OPEN-CONTAINER” EVENT THROUGHOUT THE NEXT 12 MONTHS AS A PILOT PROGRAM.

THIS ENTERTAINMENT ZONE LAUNCH PARTY WILL CREATE A BEER GARDEN-LIKE ATMOSPHERE ON THE PROMENADE BETWEEN BROADWAY AND 3RD STREET, ALLOWING ATTENDEES TO VISIT ANY OF THE PARTICIPATING ESTABLISHMENTS, PURCHASE A DRINK, AND ENTER THE OUTDOOR FOOTPRINT.

Music & Entertainment

Fuzzy’s Funk Factory, featuring members of local bands Delta Nove and Fishbone (fresh off of Warped Tour) will be playing throughout the entire event, alongside DJ M. Aurelius, curator of Nu Soul, R&B, Chill House and Old School music. The two will be playing sets interchangeably from 2 to 6 PM.

Fun4Events has reinvented a classic art favorite for this EZ Sip Event! Guests can create colorful, one-of-a-kind spin art designs on cards. A fun, hands-on activity that doubles as a unique keepsake or creative swag.

The Aerial Butterflies will create an energetic and family-friendly, carnival-inspired atmosphere with hula loop dancers, stilt walkers and, of course, bubbles!
