Drake-Chavez Community Workshop

Join the City of Long Beach at the Drake-Chavez Community Workshop!
Join the Departments of Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Marine for a feedback opportunity to help shape the future of Drake-Chavez Parks!
At the workshop Public Works will share a presentation highlighting the feedback received to date, community priorities, updates on site analysis, considerations, and opportunities for future programming. Following the presentation, breakout discussions will allow participants to provide targeted feedback on opportunities within the Drake-Chavez Master Plan and draft concept of the Drake-Chavez Connection project.
There are two opportunities to attend and share your feedback:
In-person:
Saturday, April 25, 2026
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Jenny Oropeza Community Center (401 Golden Ave.)
Virtual:
Thursday, April 30, 2026
Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Interpretation services in Spanish, Khmer and Tagalog will be available for both meetings.
