The Long Beach Hospitality Alliance is hosting an inaugural Hospitality Jobs Fair on April 13 at the Renaissance Long Beach from 12PM – 4PM. More than 20 hotels and restaurants will be represented at the fair, in addition to other hospitality employers, such as new rideshare service, See Jane Go.

With a membership roster includes many Long Beach hotels and restaurants, allied members, and partner organization, the Hospitality Alliance is dedicated to expanding hoteliers’ and restauranteurs’ network of businesses that support the growth and success of the tourism industry. For this event they have partnered with LB CaLL, Pacific Gateway, Cal State Long Beach and Long Beach City College.

“As we prepare for the busy summer season, hotels and restaurants hire lots of seasonal employees,” said Pam Ryan, co-founder and chair of the Hospitality Alliance. “It makes sense for local hoteliers and restauranteurs to pool resources this way to hire the best talent for their open positions.”

The event will also feature four seminars and discussion panels from current hotel managers on topics ranging from career paths in the hospitality industry to the day to day tasks of hotel employees and will also feature time for a questions and answer session.

Attendees should register in advance on the job fair’s website, and arrive dressed professionally with resumes in-hand. Self-parking will be complimentary
