LONG BEACH, CA [June 30, 2026] –The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DTLB Alliance) invites the community to experience the summer edition of the DTLB Art + Design Walk on Saturday, July 11, from 2–7 PM. Inspired by the theme “The Art of Movement: Where sport, design and creativity intersect,” the event celebrates movement through art, design, culture, and community while activating Downtown Long Beach with exhibitions, performances, workshops, and interactive experiences.
Spanning walkable Downtown neighborhoods—including Pine & Promenade, North Pine, and the East Village Arts District—the quarterly DTLB Art + Design Walk transforms Downtown into a vibrant open-air creative district featuring artists, designers, galleries, local businesses, and cultural organizations. As Long Beach welcomes major international sporting events, including the recent LA Galaxy Soccer Celebration, this summer edition explores how movement inspired by athletics fosters creativity, collaboration, and cultural exchange.
Organized by the DTLB Alliance in collaboration with DTLB Design District, Studio One Eleven, and the Arts Council for Long Beach (ArtsLB), the event continues to strengthen Downtown’s growing creative community by connecting artists, businesses, educational institutions, and visitors through accessible public programming.
“The DTLB Art + Design Walk continues to showcase the incredible creativity that defines Downtown Long Beach while creating meaningful opportunities for artists, businesses, and the community to connect,” said Rodrigo Rodarte, Sr. Placemaking & Activations Manager at the DTLB Alliance. “This summer’s theme celebrates movement in all its forms, from artistic expression to cultural exchange, and reflects the energy and momentum shaping Downtown today.”
