Long Beach, CA [Feb. 10, 2026] – The Downtown Long Beach (DTLB) Art + Design Walk returns Saturday, Feb. 14, as part of its ongoing quarterly series, transforming Downtown Long Beach into a vibrant celebration of creativity, culture, and community.

This special edition of the Walk honors Black History Month, spotlighting Black artists, designers, and creatives whose work continues to shape Long Beach’s cultural landscape, while also featuring Attune, a large-scale public art and light installation by NOW Art that invites visitors to reflect, connect, and engage through shared experience.

Now in its third year in this quarterly format, the DTLB Art + Design Walk has evolved into a dynamic platform for art, design, performance, and storytelling—activating streets, storefronts, and public spaces throughout Downtown. The February DTLB Art + Design Walk emphasizes both celebration and intention, creating space for dialogue, representation, and collective joy in celebration of both Black History Month and Valentine’s Day.

Organized by the Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DTLB Alliance) in collaboration with DTLB Design District, Studio One Eleven, and Dreamz Into Goals (DIG LIFE), and Council District 1, the event reimagines Downtown as an immersive creative destination—bringing artists, designers, students, and local businesses together in a shared expression of Long Beach’s cultural energy.

“This walk is about more than art, it’s about celebrating the people and stories shaping the future of downtown,” said Austin Metoyer, President and CEO of the DTLB Alliance. “By honoring Black History Month and presenting impactful public art like Attune, we’re creating meaningful moments of connection while showcasing the creative spirit that defines our city.”
