YOUR VOICE & OUR FUTURE MATTER – DPIA Elections

The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) is a non-profit community-based organization charged with managing two business improvement districts in Downtown. The mission of the DLBA is to cultivate, preserve, and promote a healthy, safe, and prosperous Downtown. Each year, Downtown Long Beach stakeholders are asked to exercise their voice and ratify a slate of candidates for DLBA’s Board of Directors.

ELECTION DATES

Voting begins June 21 @ 12:00PM and ends on July 19 @ 11:45PM.

BOARD SEATS

This year’s slate will ratify Seven (7) candidates for open Board seats representing the PBID and DPIA:

DPIA AREA: Two (2) stakeholders will represent the DPIA Area.

TERMS

Terms are two (2) years.

VOTES REQUIRED TO RATIFY CANDIDATES

The ratification of the slate will be determined by majority vote. a majority shall be determined based only upon the valid returned slates.

VOTE VALUE

Vote value for DPIA district is one vote per business license.
