Everyone will agree that Long Beach has more than stepped up its food game over the past few years. Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0 aims to showcase the best and brightest of Long Beach eating. Restaurant Week 2.0 takes place February 19-25 with More than 15 DTLB restaurants (and over 40 citywide) have signed up to offer prix fixe 2-selection lunches and 3-selection dinners.

“We have a great line-up of restaurants and cuisines,” said Elizabeth Borsting, founder of Dine Out Long Beach, Restaurant Week 2.0. “There’s Lebanese food, Honduran and Peruvian specialties, Japanese favorites, Argentine fare, Greek food, Latin American and New Mexican offerings and American classics, such as barbecue ribs, prime steak, and more.  Some restaurants will feature small plates and wine pairings. It’s a great time to explore Long Beach and its diverse selection of restaurants.”

Restaurants will offer lunch and/or dinner with 2-option menus for lunch starting at $10 and 3-option menus for dinner starting at $20.  Some restaurants are offering a shared menu where two guests can split an appetizer and dessert, but enjoy their own entrée.

Some Downtown highlights include Beer Belly’s “Fried and Fancy” three-course dinner offering everything from braised rabbit leg croquettes to duck confit ravioli with fois gras cream and Padre’s menu ranching from beer-battered squash blossoms to barbacoa braised shortrib.
