HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES

April 27 - May 23, 2010
Three couples connected only by the husbands' jobs get together for two dinner parties - which take place on stage at the same time. The comically ingenius action involves a pair of illicit lovers whose outrageous behavior and unfortunate blunders create a whirlwind of chaos, confusion and laughter.

A SHAYNA MAIDEL
June 8 - July 3, 2010
Two sisters separated during childhood, one a survivor of Nazi concentration camps, the other brought up as an American, are reunited in New York City in 1946 after a separation of almost 20 years. A drama of wrenching feeling and great beauty, it not only evokes the devastation of the Holocaust, but it goes beyond to become a universal portrayal of a family filled with conflict and emotion. It is a powerful and emotionally charged tale of sustenance, hope, and the belief that from a broken and bitter past, a better future may be born.

Pulitzer Prize Finalist
THE CLEAN HOUSE
August 24 - September 19, 2010
Four markedly different, yet intimately connected women grapple with order, cleanliness, and the messy ambiguities of life in a quirky and unexpectedly moving comedy about love, loss and the power of a good joke. This whimsical romantic comedy centers on Mathilde, a Brazilian housekeeper who's more interested in coming up with the perfect joke than in cleaning the house. Lane, the lady of the house has an eccentric sister who is nuts about housecleaning. Trouble comes when Lane's husband reveals that he has found his soul mate. A poignant, unpredictable and wildly funny look at class, comedy and the true nature of love.

World Premiere
WHEN GARBO TALKS!
October 12 - November 7, 2010
She Talks! She Sings! She Lives Again! Set within the vaudeville days of the 1920's and the transition of silent movies into talking pictures, 17-year-old Swedish acting student Greta Gustafsson is discovered by Sweden's genius film director, Mauritz Stiller. Hearts break, careers plummet as icy beauty Greta Garbo rises to become one of the greatest screen actresses of the 30s and 40s and MGM's biggest international star. It is a comic, moving, and tuneful look at the events leading to the discovery and rise to stardom of Greta Garbo at the dawn of Hollywood's Golden Age.
